My Kayak

With a wider seat well, comfortable seat back and stern stingers to carry volume in the rear of the boat, the Prowler Big Game is BIG on stability and comfort. Plenty of storage space, and a redesigned drainage system for a drier ride, make the Big Game perfect for going after the 'big one'.

Christmas Barracuda

2.5 foot Barracuda caught with a silver and blue Kastmaster and a $32 Longs Drugs fishing pole. More of a diver than a jumper when caught.

I caught this Barracuda off of my sea kayak on Christmas day outside the reef at Puamana. These locals can smell fresh fish from a mile away and came running up when they saw me hit the shore. They thought it was a Christmas miracle that I gave them the fish for free.

Road to Hana Part II

The Road to Hana

Get ready for a trip back in time to the old style, slower paced Hawai'i and the most beautiful tropical rainforests you've ever seen! But be prepared to take your time getting there, as the road to Hana offers some of the most spectacular scenery found anywhere in the Hawaiian islands, but the road is long and winding, with over 600 curves and 54 bridges. It's only 53 miles from Kahului Airport to Hana, but it usually takes about 2½ to 3 hours to make the drive, of course that depends on how often you stop.

This is a picture of a waterfall at the beggining of a four mile hike that Jesse and I took to the bamboo forest.
