Caught four of these bad boys off my kayak yesterday. In typical fashion gave them to a local on the beach who was delighted to have fresh fish and threw shakas left and right.

My New Netbook

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One netbook from Walmart for three bills. Besides its tiny glossy glare prone screen it performs admireably when viewing internet movies and websurfing. Its small enough to fit in a lady's purse or if you're Jason Inslee an effeminate man purse recommended by the latest issue of Details magazine.

I give the Acer one thumb up as one thumb is about all you can fit on the child size keyboard.

Black Tip Reef Shark

No mistaking the identification of this shark. Spotted 50 feet from Jesse yesterday who promptly got the heck out of the water. It was maybe seven feet long. Only attributed with 28 recorded "unprovoked" attacks in the last 450 years with no deaths. Its like a little ocean teddy bear, although its responsible for 16% of all shark attacks in Florida, often striking surfers. Is it provoked if you look like a delicious Hawaiian Monk Seal?
