One of the horrible things about the tropics. This two inch long devil scurried from behind the toilet while I was taking a wizz...at which point my stream reversed. It crawled across the bathroom wall while I tried to smash it and it eventually got underneath the sink in the cabinets. I had to clear everything out of the cabinets and do battle with a bottle of spray cleaner and a girlish scream or two. I triumphed and tossed the loser down the toilet.
